Foothills Growing Project 2018

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink” Mathew 25:35 As a Christian response to hunger we are excited to announce that our project has grown to 110 acres in 2017! The Foothills Growing Project consists of local farmers donating a portion of their acres to go toward raising funds for Canadian Foodgrains Bank. We farm the acres in conjunction with our own seeded acres. We work together with the High River Baptist Church and the Canadian Baptist Ministries. If you would like to support our project you can play a part in growing our crops by sponsoring an acre of crop inputs at $250 per acre. At the end of our growing season the farmers will sell the crops off the 110 acres and if all our input costs are covered through donations then the total proceeds of the grain sales can be forwarded to Canadian Foodgrains Bank to be matched by the Canadian Government. Donations can be made by the following ways: (Cheques made payable to Foothills Growing Project) 1. By mail to the Foothills Growing Project R.R. #1 Cayley, Alberta T0L 0P0; 2. Can be dropped off at the High River Baptist Church; or 3. Donations can be made online through this website. If you have any questions about our growing project you can contact us at
